  Turtle Walk

Turtle Walk

There´s a Turtle on the road
And it´s moving kinda slow
He´s a little bit ahead
Of the one behind the shed

And they´re off to see the creek
In the bush beside the street
Where the other Turtles wait
For the ones who make it late

They cross the road and down the path
Under the trees and through the grass
Over the mud enjoying the rain
The Turtle walk is on again

They cross the road and down the path
Under the trees and through the grass
Over the mud enjoying the rain
The Turtle walk is on again

From water dams to riverside
From little streams to lakes so wide
From brooks and creeks on either side
They need a place to hide

They cross the road and down the path
Under the trees and through the grass
Over the mud enjoying the rain
The Turtle walk is on again

They cross the road and down the path
Under the trees and through the grass
Over the mud enjoying the rain
The Turtle walk is on again

So if you see the Turtle walk on any of your days
Just be careful that you stop and watch them on their way
They will thank you with a smile and carry on their way
To the place where they are heading
For their next stay

There´s a Turtle on the road
And it´s moving kinda slow
But hes a little bit ahead
Of the one behind the shed

They cross the road and down the path
Under the trees and through the grass
Over the mud enjoying the rain
The Turtle walk is on again

They cross the road and down the path
Under the trees and through the grass
Over the mud enjoying the rain
The Turtle walk is on again
